The idea is not only untrue, it is disgusting.We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs, but most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts.Singer did not identify the nephew by name and according to NBC News, it remains unclear if he has legal representation at this time.The latest development comes weeks after Martin denied allegations surrounding a domestic abuse restraining order filed against him in Puerto Rico this month.Police spokesman Axel Valencia told The Associated Press at the time that authorities attempted to serve the singer in his coastal neighborhood of Dorado, but according to the AP, Valencia said quote up until now police haven't been able to find him.Puerto Rican newspaper elbow Cerro reported that the petitioner, who was unnamed under the country's domestic abuse prevention and Intervention Act known as Law 54, claimed that Martin had been seen loitering near the person's home multiple times since they allegedly ended a seven month relationship earlier this year.According to the paper, the order alleges that Martin hadn't accepted the split and the petitioner quote fears for his safety. A Rep for the 50 year old issued a statement to Access Hollywood the day after the protection order was reportedly signed, calling the allegations that led to the order quote completely false and fabricated, adding we are very confident that when the true facts come out.In this matter, our client, Ricky Martin, will be fully vindicated, Valencia told the AP that Martin is prohibited from contacting the petitioner and a judge will determine at an upcoming hearing if the temporary order will remain in place.In addition, the AP reports that Valencia said the petitioner did not issue a formal complaint with police and took their request directly to court, noting that a police report would have required prosecutors to evaluate evidence when deciding to press charges or not.Martin has been married to husband Juan Yosef since 2017. The pair share a young son and daughter, and the Latin icon is also dad to older twins.
