Black Mirror has rounded out the cast for its upcoming sixth season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the new season will feature some big names set to appear in new episodes, including Sassy Bates, Josh Hartnett, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Danny Ramirez and Papa Asiedu, among others. As THR previously reported.Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones's acclaimed dystopian anthology is expected to have more episodes than the previous season, which had just three installments. The new season will also continue the show's trend of producing longer and more cinematic stories, while the total episode count for season six has yet to be announced, sources say this batch of cast members will start in the first three.Episodes the last season of Black Mirror aired back in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. At the time, Brooker said he wasn't inclined to make more episodes of the tech horror series amid global tragedy and instead produce two pandemic themed specials for Netflix death to 2020 and death to 2021. No word yet on a release date.for the upcoming season.
